I was surprised to learn they had PEOPLE in Canada.

I actually heard some chirping today, but it was hard to tell if it was a bird trying to clear it's throat from frost, or a chipmunk WTF faced coming out of hibernation realizing it must be too early.

Though, yes there is people in Canada, and it's actually not THAT bad. The coldest I've seen is -50ish or so. You can walk a few blocks and survive that. (in a parka, with face mostly covered) Sometimes though when you open a door, it actually DOES look like a scene from the day after tomorrow.

The best is at work when we opened the garage door to get to the garbage. You could hear the wind and see all the blowing snow coming in. It was like opening a plane hatch mid air or something. "It's not safe to go alone, take this!" *hands gasoline and matches*
