im having vent problems i cant connect to the server and idk why so help plz

the hosting company had some kind of network outage. And for the third freaking time i had to redo everything, and I lost all the bans and so forth. Lost all the user info, channels, everything and there is no way to save the config. So, i had a come to Jesus with them yesterday. Got 2 months free out of the deal. SO, Ima wait till June and see what happens between now and then.

The problem with vent is, I have to pay someone else to host it. I cant just put it on one of mine or reds servers and go from there like teamspeak. I already tried to get a license for vent to get more then 8 slots but I cant. Cus I have to purchase a minimum of 1k slots to host it. And nobody is on the little 15 slotter we currently have so Im surely not going to bother with more slots until ours is full atleast some of the day.

Now, you guys want to help me as well as the shard with this vent server? get in it, idle in it, get your friends in it, use it. The more people who use it the more I will have to increase it, and the more motivated I will be to do so and spend more money on it. The rest is self explanatory.

Yeah. That's why I'm rarely on there.
Still on there if we're doing something or if someone tells me to get on vent so they can talk to me, but otherwise I'd just be idle/afk half the time so I don't bother.

My old computer worked fine with my dual jack microphone setup. My old cpu had 3 plugs, green for speakers and the other two were for mic and headphones. My new cpu has 6 different plugs and i have no clue where to put my microphone jack. My headset works but my microphone doesnt in ventrilo. Sometimes it flashes the green icon (that your talking) but it isnt consistant. Is there a settings problem? or what.... and what color hole should the mic jack go in? i have pink,orange,blue,black,purple and green...
