My screen will not restore....

So I logged on with my char and when the game finishes loading it minimizes down to my task bar. I can here sounds from the game but cannot get my screen to come up. I have removed my desktop character folder and I am patched current.

Any clue?

i have had the same thing happen, but unfortunately I cannot remember what I did to correct it. It was somn simple though in my situation. Maybe try alt+tab...?

I was trying to get on to kill 15 minutes after I got ready for work this morning and it happened.. I will try that later today... if it is that easy of a fix I will be very happy...

Did you try right clicking in the UO box in the task bar and choosing restore or maximize?

Yea it will not come up. THis happened on osi many years ago but it was due to me losing connection while on a moving boat and when I relogged I was in the water....

I right clicked the uo icon in my task bar and chose restore... nothing it just flashes. I then clicked minimize and then restore.... nothing again... I am at my house so i know there is no problem with him. I logged on another account with no problem and my guy is just standing there...

I've had this happen too, the only way I've found to fix it is if you pin point it to a specific account, you have to go in your uo folder then go in the desktop folder and delete the entry for that account/shard. If it's only a specific char doing it you can delete only that char.

The part that sucks is you lose any in game settings like your spell gump placements.

Acutally since my other problem of losing connect and deleting my character folder to get back on my game hasn't saved a folder for this char. My chars name is Novak and when I went in to delete the folder for him he did not have one, I just went ahead and deleted all my other chars folders.... Still was not able to get back on...
