Superbowl XLIII Super Event! [complete]

There will be a Superbowl event starting at 9:00pm ET today!

At around 9:00PM ET you will get a popup notification to join the event and gates will open at key areas for those who missed the popup.

The goal of this event is to get as many footballs as possible by killing the foot ball players. They are agressive and will tackle you good. There is also two teams (red and blue) and they attack each other. When a player is being attacked it will attempt to pass the ball to another team member.

If you catch a ball you can also throw it to anyone you like by double clicking it.

Yes, the ball is a basket. It was the closest thing I could find to a foot ball.

An announcement will be made in game once the event starts.

Think, a huge foot ball game, full body contact, no goal lines/posts. I don't even know if there will be a ball.

I got delayed by a tech support call so what I'll do is restart the shard before the event so I can put in the event scripts. It's almost done, just have to do some testing first.

Could have been that you clicked accept after the event was over, so it therefore served no function. But like Kwan said, the event is long over, so it hardly matters now.

I celebrated the Superbowl by going Ice Skating. That's how a REAL Canadian celebrates an American tradition.

Actually I need to have a Stanley cup event now too. Hmm wonder what animation to use for people shooting a puck around.

This could be fun. We need to have people in the stands selling poutine and hot dogs.

You can animate puck throwing in that manner with a packet animation. Looks similar to fan dancers throwing their tessen at you.

lol boxing match weapon(leather-platemail gloves) have a chance to k.o. somone with each hit leather having least chance plate having most also str could be a facto for each point of str is .1%chance of a k.o. anyone think this is a good idea?
