It think my mom is going crazy

Post by Red Squirrel »

This has been going on for years, but lately it's been much worse. She looses stuff ALL THE TIME. Car keys, house keys, even stuff that she JUST CAME FROM THE STORE WITH. How can you lose stuff so much? It makes no sense. she'll go totally insane turning the house into a mess trying to find it.

Like yesterday she came back from the mall after buying Christmas tree ornaments, the minute she came in the door she starts going crazy searching the whole house for the bag. Normally when I buy something and just came in the door I'll have the bag in my hand with the intentions of doing something with it, such as taking it out of the bag.

I don't think she ever found them either. For all I know she never even did take them out of the store. :/ Car keys... I wont even go there, this happens OFTEN. Glasses, same thing.. how do you lose glasses? Aren't they suppose to, you know, be on you?

And worse is she gets mad at me for not helping her, well what am I suppose to do? I'm not the one that lost an item, she should be more aware of her surroundings methinks.

</rant>

ps: I think I have enough money for a house now, I cant wait to move out so I don't have to deal with stuff like that.

Maybe she's getting Alzheimer's. Not a nice thing to say but gotta look for the warning signs anyways.

lol I sometimes wonder that. I don't think it's the case though, but it is kinda scary as that is an early sign of it, to forget and lose stuff all the time.

No thanks, if I think the real estate here is bad I can imagine Toronto lol. That and too much traffic, pollution etc.. too fast paced.

Though if I DID move to Toronto I'd want to live near 151 Front Street. Lot of access to data center and super high speed connectivity. :D I could host AoV there lol.

It's the cold man. I've lived in many places, some cold and some warm. The majority of the people that live in the cold places are grumpy and generally not happy, or should I say not as happy. It's generally the opposite in places that are warm (this example is keeping the standard of living constant of course). The colder it gets, the worse it is. At least that has been my experience.

You may be right, considering it's -20's average latetly. Will be rude in January then, that's when the -40's kick in.

I really don't care for the cold, in fact it helps remind me how fortunate I am of living in a developed country where I have access to heated buildings such as my house or the office where I get my paycheck.

People are just grumpy in general. I've found small towns are usually friendlier (Cause you know pretty much everyone so you can't be an ass an go "Oh well, I won't see him ever again").

I blame the 9 - 5 work week and rush hour. That'll make anyone's blood boil.
