Question about Skills and Jewels

If I am at 100/100 animal taming, does wearing +skill jewelry increase it or do I need a powerscroll first to see it's addition?

Skill bonuses will not surpass your skill's cap unless you extend it VIA a powerscroll. Therefore, if you're at 100 taming and don't have a power scroll to take it any higher (105 - 120) a jewel will not increase your taming.

Example:

I currently have 100 taming and I ate a 105 powerscroll which gives me a max attainable of 105 taming.

I put on a jewel with +12 taming.....my taming increases to 105 (Not 112 taming as I would need at least a 115 taming powerscroll).

Don't forget to warn him that using +skill items for taming is a bad idea because your pets listenting to you and in fact the ability to actually tame certain pets is based on your *real* skill and not your skill after items (Completely making cetrtain arties almost useless.)
