Useful UO Tools

Post by Death »

I will be populating that entry in the content database and am looking for useful tools to add in. If you know of any useful tools, please write them down with a short description and a link to a website or download.

NOTE: They must be LEGAL tools. This means no speed hacks or exploiting. For example: UOAM is considered a legal program whereas modified clients are not.

no one can cast 12 spells in 2 seconds, especially since this shard has a mandatory cast time of spells of .3 seconds.

and zzzzzzzzzzzzap aren't even too good.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzap is also banned.

He seemed fishy from the very start, then I started getting all sorts of reports, so I just said furrnt.

He also tried to hack my account I think LOL. He had a username that was rather, suspicious. I doubt it was coincidence he ended up with that account name.

All I have to say, good luck guessing my password....

So I zapped his account.

You obviously don't know fast as you probably haven't seen D. cast.

You could probably cast 7 spells in 2.1 seconds though :)

Yes I ping great, good gaming comp and just got a brand new Sata Hardrive (they are faster than the old ones). My comp is clean and just has Microsoft office (for school), uo, razor, starcraft, and some video watching programs, oh and not to forget all my virus scanners etc. I don't fill my comp with junk and I take very good care of it. It's like a car, if you want it to run well and be fast, you have to treat it well and maintain it.

I do cast very fast, but no one can break the timers on here. I believe there is a .3 second minimum cast delay for all spells. So, regardless of what people ping or how good their comp is, they can never break the settings of the server.

However, the advantage I do have, is that with a high end connection and computer, I have a greater tendency to maintain a fast pace, while other people may have the potential to be fast (tony is actually pretty quick, akasha used to be quick on here too before he got himself banned). However, it is a common thing for people to experience lag or slight packet loss, while those are an extremely rare thing for me. The only shitty thing is I'm paying $60 a month for my internet, but since I don't watch T.V. and I'm pretty frugal with everything else, I think it's worth it considering how much time I spend on my comp.

Basically, yes, ping and computer play a HUGE role in Ultima, but there are certain threshholds than can not be surpased.

Bile is a piece of shit plain and simple, but to say he cats 12 spells in 2 seconds= not possible, that's all I said in my first post.

This tool is great, especially if I ever finish it...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhb2ls65RzY

It's off limits here though, in fact I doubt I'll ever release it. One day I'd like to use it to write an ultimate PVP bot for kicks though. Unleech on on Demise and watch it destroy people. I can run it off the AoV server for ridiculously high ping. (data center to data center = win)

I know it's late and perhaps I've had one too many, but I fail to see what you are trying to say.

Just being an ass and correcting spelling. It was more sarcasm than anything really...

To get back to topic, another useful UO tool is InsideUO.

It's more useful for devs then players mind you. It lets you see all item IDs, creature IDs, sound IDs, etc... so when coding stuff you can refer to it.
