Court Today

I got into an accident around June i ran thru a yellow light in the rain at night which turned into red when i was going thru *rushing of coarse* than the lady in the far lane decided to jump her green light and hit me in the side.. i guess its my fault but point being this is gonna suck first time ive ever gone to court .. wish me luck hah.

Sweet i got cased dismissed.. the cop didnt see the accident and the person that i got hit by and the witness didnt show up so there was no case against me so i just walked up to the judge and he said nothing to me except case dismissed.. Whew.. thanks thou =]

Wow thats it? They won't reschedule or anything? Thats great. I've never been to court, or in trouble with the law, but I'm sure it's a heart pounding experience, no fun at all.

I tried fighting a speeding ticket in court once... I was hoping the officer wouldn't show up, but he did. He was not happy, especially when I stated the only reason I was here was to see how the legal process worked.

Haha thats great. Makes him wish he would not of stopped you, since even if he won, it was a total waste of his time.

no they scheduel you from the officers ticket book , so he fills his book and everyone who got a ticket from him shows up that day and he runs thru every ticket he had in his book so either way hes there all day

Sure, but you can call the court ahead of time and request a reschedule 8)

from the way he acted, I was the only one to fight a speeding ticket in a long time. He looked like the type of guy who did all his homework and was ready to give testimony, show diagrams, reinact the stop, etc. You should have seen the look he got when I said I just wanted to test out the judicial system.
