why try to make them seem good? Everyone knows that sacred elemental, arcane earrings, death ring, etc are junk. How about replacing them with some really shitty arties? At least people would get a laugh out of it. Here are some examples just off the top of my head:

Turd Herder Sheperd's Crook
Herding +5

Heavy Xbow of Ruin Heavy Xbow
5DI

Walmart sneakers Shoes
Self Repair -2

lol I had thought of making an arty called deception. it would have +1 of every single mod. It looks good at first but then you start reading the mods...

Well, everyone values things differently. Some people might think an item is crap while others like it. For example, I know somebody who praised the death ring cause it fit in perfectly with their template (IMO it sucks). Of course, you're right, some items just plain blow.

I can save those really shitty arty ideas for level 1 recipes (Well, I wouldn't make them that shitty) as level 1 recipes are very common finds and enough are needed to populate that list.

My post was half joke, half truth. On the big D, I had quite a collection of absolute crap locked down at the orc fort mall. Not just stuff I thought was good that was really just junk, but real junk. My prized item was a 5 mod +1% item. Crog and Alvar used to help me find junk items. It kinda added a little fun to the game.

No, not that one. Think it was a red staff and it had like 1% hit lightning, 1% hit lower defence, 1% hci, 1% dci and all that.

Funny you should mention that. I went to go spray the window with the solution and then realized it was bleach (Because the bottle had improper identification). My roomate then goes to spray it with windex (Ammonia) to clean it up the crazy bugger. I quickly told him not to for that exact reason.
