Has the drop rate on Aoa's been changed? I used to be able to farm a couple 10th anny items then hop over to get a couple lessers to go gamble. but today I noticed that after two days of not collecting AoA's my percentage was low..like .145 with a .05 something modifier. Are these linked somehow now to 10th anny items or has something else been changed that I am not aware of?

No, but if you get an AOA your chance raises lower so if you already got one in that day, it'll take longer to get the next.

I havent gotten Aoa in two days and when I went to get one after my 10th anny drops my chances were so low where as they are usually at 1.89...I'll try later...but I everyone in my guild agress that if u get a 10th anny before your aoa, then ur aoa chances are like u had just gotten one...

Actually thats something I'll check. The 10th anniversary code is very similar to the aoa code and was basically copy and pasted then modified. I may of accidentally copied over the aoa lines that control arty chance.

also, the % chance to get 10th year ani items is kinda low, when you look at how crappy they all are pretty much =p.

Ya they are shitty (Well that combined suit isn't too bad). Can probably increase those a bit but they should be taking quite a while anyways (There's not a whole lot of them).

I was killing AL's earlier at 5%, i got that 10th anny and now the AL I just killed gave me a 2.503% chance. I'd say that they are related :)

Is there any way to put a kill counter on the arty chances like in Gaunt? Just for curiosity's sake?

There's no real reason because you can see the percent chance and it's accumulative.

What would a kill counter prove besides somebody going on chat saying "OMG 230 kills and no arty!! This is bugged!!!" when it's by design and luck? For those who would like to see the percent that's understandable but given previous experience with the gaunt chance, I anticipate the same would happen.

pshhhh at a certain point you almost dont want to get an arty so you can set the next UO world record on worst luck arty farming. At least thats my opinion. I'm proud of my 276 gaunt kills with no arty its a benchmark that most people can't claim to have seen XD

well i love doom and the feeling of geting a arty but when i was at 241 kills today it sucked but then i got a taskmaster lol lame i think the doom drop chances should be increased by 1%

OMG, it got increased twice already! Not to mention the guaranteed game system was put into existance! :o:

How bout we nuke all arties and rely on crafted good instead? Doesn't that sound even more delicious? :D

wow didnt mean to hit a spot death but god dam dude just giving an idea out there didnt know there wwere alrdy increased just saying some people play this shard what 1 to 2 hours a day would just be really neat if the percent was a tad bit higher

Nah you didn't hit a nerve, I wasn't using an angry tone hence the emoticons I used. Although the arty thing is still a delicious aspect.

And to get back to topic there was a bug in the code for 10th anniversary arties so its been fixed. It's at least on TC1, not sure if I uploaded it to live on time.
