yeah, I have pictures of that from the last time we went. We are going north of there, between Wawa and White River(I think thats the name of the town).

Pike's fun to fish up. They put up such a bitchen fight.

I remember pulling up a 12 pounder at my cottage and when we got it in the net, it went apeshit and broke the steel handle clean in two, flopped on the boat knocking the pail over and wrapped itself inside the net so bad we had to cut it loose (Not like the net was still good anyways).

Couldn't knock it out with the pliers, my dad had to use the oar. Cleaning that thing produced some nice fillets too. It tasted beautiful too cause it was caught in June before the water got mucky and warm.

their eye balls are also very strong, I remember trying to pry one out just for hell of it. I look back, that was so cruel LOL. but it was about to get sliced up anyway.

You sir, have apparently never witnessed my "minnow guillotine". It involves a minnow and one of those spring snap minnow traps.

I got my finger stuck in a pike's mouth last weekend. Dumb mistake, it hurt. Their teeth are curved, so you can't pull your finger out. It was like getting stuck in a finger cuff. I love pike, they are always so pissed off and angry.

They do. Best is how they try to trick you. They ALWAYS do this. They'll calm down, and you freaking know it's coming. All of a sudden they thrash around like mad. They do it on purpose too so that they fuck you up.

yeah the teeth kinda go inwards so you have to push your finger in more and try to open the mouth so you can pull in the right angle.

I purposely put my finger in one's mouth "just for fun" and learned that the hard way.

I can safely say I have never done that. Closest I've ever done is get my finger caught in the gill plate. That kinda hurt, those things can be sharp.

when I did it I was holding it in a way so I could easily pull out, which was good. Minimizes pain. Always safe when you can pull out on time.
