Perhaps you would consider adding Pack Instinct Ostard to the 2 slot yoshis. I mean I understand why they are 2 slots now, but they are a little underpowered. I mean Courels, Fire steeds, and such have instinct, I think it'd be fair for 2 slot yoshis to get instinct too, as they dont have any more abilities that the other critters listed.

They have pack instinct and a very large strength in one resist which they have completely immunity in, making them rather special.Plastic Man wrote:Perhaps you would consider adding Pack Instinct Ostard to the 2 slot yoshis. Which is the Content DB Listing, does it list any pack instinct.Yoshi
These come in green, yellow, blue and red. Each color represents different elements and abilities and have different control requirements (for non tamers)
Yellow: Does pure physical damage and hits hard. Anyone with 100 tactics and a melee weapon skill can control one.
Green: Does poison damage and has high poison resists. Anyone with 100 poisoning skill can control one.
Blue: Does cold damage and has high cold resist and uses magery and spellweaving. Anyone with 100 spellweaving can control one.
Red: Does fire damage as well as magery and can bleed. Anyone with 100 magery can control one. They can be found mostly in ilsh. One good spot is past the mine in compassion. They all require 40 taming and take 2 slots.
Taming required: 40
Control slots: 2

But they still have no more special abilities than the other two I listed. I never said they weren't special. Fire steeds have their special fire attacks, Courels their Hit Lightning and Petrify.Seer Death wrote:They have pack instinct and a very large strength in one resist which they have completely immunity in, making them rather special.Plastic Man wrote:Perhaps you would consider adding Pack Instinct Ostard to the 2 slot yoshis. Their ability to be used by certain classes without the need of taming skill and their resistance immunity (Which can actually heal them) are their specials. Some of them have special shots as well.Plastic Man wrote:But they still have no more special abilities than the other two I listed. I never said they weren't special. Think we forgot to add in the instinct in the content DB section. I'll check it out a bit later.

Well the Pack Instinct was what the whole thread was SUPPOSED to be about not about how special they are You sounded liek you just wanted to start an argument

Nah, I answer posts in the order they come in. Threads tend to get sidetracked.Plastic Man wrote:Well the Pack Instinct was what the whole thread was SUPPOSED to be about not about how special they are You sounded liek you just wanted to start an argument
The new yoshi don't have pack instinct. Seems it was replaced with the ability to be used by certain classes (Tactics or poisoners). The prepatch ones might still possess this ability. Red could shed more insight on these as they are his mobiles.
