If I med to full the icon doesn't leave the buff bar. Dunno if its still in effect or not....

Buff/Debuff icons aren't fully functional yet so chances are it does not work in full. When you receive the "You are at peace" message, the buff is supposed to be removed (Unless it is not set to be removed).
