Know what drives me nuts?? Pets. I say all guard...it responds, then stops guarding after, like, one kill. Simply ignores the things attacking me. I summoned a DF an hour ago and the thing did more ignoring than killing and guarding. I have to invis myself to get it to actually do killing without an all kill command. And whats this shit where I say all stop and after a while it ignores taht command and humps my ass again? Why when I give a command does it spontaneously decide to follow me after 10 minutes or so?

Pets switch to follow after killing something, though I could maybe do a check for guard and have them stay in that mode. I forget why I had done this but there was a reason behind it, think it had to do with pets wandering a lot after a kill due to other code in place so it was just to make it easier on everyone.

As for the mob target thing I'll have to take a look at it further as it should not be happening that much, unless it's a boss.

it's my pet guarding me once then ignoring other combatants.


and the fucked up thing is it doesn't always happen.

bless isn't coming up in the buff bar, weakness...well says it's at 0 seconds but stays forever. pic is still in the buff bar, won't go away.

The buff bar is not complete. We've been periodically going in and adding them (Think red added blood oath recently). One day we will go in and add it to all those conditions (In fact, I think that ticket's on the front page now after that recent update).

Bless is likely half-done. It'll get added once the spell is cast but the method to remove it is missing.

1. Is it possible to make a masterpiece with a runic ?
2. Is it possible to make mage, bird, bovine, wolf, ice, flame etc slayers or just the regular ones?
3. A suggestion: make artifacts enhanceable. Now THAT is an arty sink.
4. Are deer/bear masks enhanceable yet or will that take a long time to code?
5. Any plans to add the Paladin Sword to the menu? I miss that thing. Disarm/whirlwind is fun.....

1) The purpose of a masterpiece weapon is to give it a clean slate so that you can modify its stats and build it to your heart's contents. Not only would runics add properties you may not want, the same amount of points would stack on a runic just like it stacks to a regular. This would give it way more points than is necessary and we'd end up seeing retarded weapons that look like 2 artifacts stacked together. Material bonuses also don't apply as it gives a reason to use regular materials like boards and ingot instead of just letting them sit to collect dust.

2) I can't confirm that you can make mage/bettle etc slayers. In fact, UOML slayers are normally only supposed to exist on talismans so technically, they shouldn't be applying to the weapons either (We did not discover this until recently). It wouldn't be hard to apply if it turns out that they aren't applying but before then, we'd have to think of whether or not we want to follow suit with OSI in making them only apply to talismans or if we want to just add them in with the other slayer listings.

3) Definitely not. Enhancing is unpredictable and dealing with runuo crafting code for changes gives Red gray hairs. Changing artifact stats would also deviate from that artifact and become confusing during trades .

4) I believe I added those into the tailoring menu. You can try enhancing one with barbed, horned or spined leather. If it can be repaired and made through tailoring, you should be able to enhance as well.

5) There's little information available on the paladin sword and whether it actually exists on OSI or not. It could very well be a special "anniversary/reward only" item. After some research is done on that weapon, we may add it into the crafting system and loot tables.

Ya that's something I want to fix too. The rewards and types of bod quests are too crunched together. Doing a board quest giving you an oak saw or a valorite quest giving you a crap prize. It's not slotted correctly IMO.

Personally, I want to follow a system similar to how the previous BOD rewards were given out to spread it out and give it more variety (But obviously not as rare). Instead of dropping hammers and runics the prize drops would be more spread out with new items added in between.

Would be nice to fix the tinkering bod quest to as it doesn't make too much sense.

The Redeemer (Paladin Sword) was a reward for turning on Books of Truth during an OSI event. It's got Damage increase 55%, Undead and Demon Slayer. For more info.....

Its not part of an artifact drop system. Only arties that "drop" off monsters and are part of specific systems that we chose to implement on the roulette can be gambled.

Stealable artifacts are not contained in an arraylist which is what the roulette system uses. So blade of the righteous and all those other goodies are not on the list of valid items. We may someday add them to the roulette system for sacrificing but it's not a priority atm.
