What is the best prank you have heard of or better yet pulled on April Fool's day or otherwise?

The best and worst one I have ever pulled is me and my best friend collaborated to convince our entire group of friends that our friend Kevin had killed himself when he really had just moved away. Kevin was in on it, and even went so far as to mail a suicide note to me with a package of some of his "prize" possesions (I was his first friend in the group and when he got divored from his wife I was the one whos couch he came to sleep on, so it was fairly natural that I was the one that got the note since I knew him the best).

We kept up the prank for probably 3 weeks, and when our circle of friends found out my best friend almsot got broken up with and got a jaw shot. Luckily I was in the other room when they found out and am an intimidating enough guy all i got were swear words and dirty looks. It was known right away that Kevin was in on it and one of our friends even said "He's still dead to me. I don't ever want to see him again." I'm thinking that maybe we took it a little to far, but its kind of cool still because people around here still remember hearing about this and Ben and I have become something of urban legends locally. So even though I know it was a horrible thing to do, I still can't help but laugh at the memory.

The Funniest prank I have heard of someoen else is doing is soemthign i heard at college. One of my dorm mates told me a story about a senior prank pulled at his highschool. Apparently a couple of seniors borrowed some pigs and released them in the high school, they numbered the sides of the pigs. The Best part is, they released 3 Pigs with the numbers 1, 2, and 4 painted on their sides. The authorities never did find pig #3 and so was actually cancelled for two whole days.

Fake blood dripping down the hand and a strategically placed nail that was held together with some scotch tape. Me and my sister were in on it and when I came into the room to where my mom was with the nail in my hand and the fake blood she shot up out of her chair, knocked over a stool and yelled "CHRIST" so loud the room literally echoed.

Shortly afterwards we heard the famous "Oh you guys are bad". My poor mom, we played so many tricks on her in our youth.
