But yeah it's really too bad this place died out like this.

I'm still throwing the idea of combining all the forums I run into one, that would maybe help as all the traffic would be combined. So instead of having 1 post per month at each forum there would be 1 post per week at one forum.

Been pretty good. I'm not even sure if I ever posted that I have a house now, but yeah, been like 3 years. Been doing lot of home automation stuff lately. I sometimes post stuff on my blog. (http://www.redsquirrel.me)

I have an awesome job working for our local telco's NOC. It's shift work, so I get lot of time off which is nice. I was running a UO game server but after 5 years I decided to shut it down as it died off and became more a chore than fun. Been wanting to find another project but right now just doing little things around the house.

I have been checking your blog every few months since you started it just to see what you're up to. You have done so much work to your house since you moved in, it's awesome.

I think combining your forums might be a nice idea...think it'll happen?

I've been thinking more and more about Iceteks latetly and wanting to revamp it. So part of that revamp may involve combining the forums. I would most likely make the posts/members stay in the process too. Duplicate names would get renamed and if the email addresses match there would be an option to just combine the accounts. (Basically, posts and other stats)

But yeah it's definitely something I've been thinking of. I just need to find the time and motivation to actually execute it.

I also need to look into ways to take advantage of social media as that is the big thing nowdays. So simple things like adding "like" buttons on posts and other stuff that links to social media. I've kinda fallen behind myself on web trends and coding stuff so I have some catching up to do before I execute it. But a fresh new site would be nice.

welp, as long as this place exists i'll keep coming back to check in from time to time.

we had a great community once, and still do, albeit smaller and less active...maybe it'll pick back up again in the future.
