While I am not a fan whatsoever of the "Church" of Scientology, I think the charge and conviction of fraud is a bit harsh here. But then again, I don't know French law.

yeah, I didn't like that article. 95% of it was scientologists claiming the result is an attack on freedom of religion. It barely even spoke of what the case was actually about. But what do you expect of a major US news outlet and it's "show the controversy" mentality. But you'd at least expect CNN to get a quote from someone outside the church.

Scientology makes me laugh. Reminds me of when I find a small ant alone in the washroom. It's just going in all sorts of random directions and has no clue where it's heading.

Yeah, more specifics regarding the actual laws broken and more info about the case as a whole would have been nice.

Not really sure why it reminds you about that as they're actually quite deliberate in what they do;) Regarding individual members, on the other hand....
