People actually give different dates for Linux’s birthday, but Linus Torvalds posted the first Linux source code 17 years ago, so this is the day I pick. Happy birthday!

Yay for Linux' birthday. Wow 17 years? They even had regular computers back then? Figured it was all giant vacuum tube calculators that don't really do anything. :P

I’d like to try some really old Linux distributions one day. I don’t know if they could handle Charlie though.

Edit: I don’t mean to confuse the Linux kernel with operating systems that use the Linux kernel. There’s a whole controversy about that.
