Disruptable Mobs

With the super AI that is on this server, I suggest making mobs disruptable. I would say make it either disrupt them or not disrupt players in pvm, but that would definitely take the fun out of it.

It's just lame to get multiple mobs casting explo, fs, mb, poison.

its part of the game, deal with it.

If we could disrupt them, easy spamm spells such as wither will be rediculous. As for the not disrupting us, theres the spell protection.

It's always an idea to give them a slight chance to get disrupted but the problem I see with that is spells like wither or magic arrow which cast incredibly quickly, would leave a monster in a vegetative state as they would keep fizzling which isn't much fun. Also, seeing as this is AI, it would also affect pets, thus fizzling pets would exist (Think about a tamed reptalon trying to cast wildfire when there's 50 slimes on him).

As for the multiple mobs thing, which monsters where you fighting in a group and how many were there exactly? This will let us know where the problem lies.

When fighting monsters in groups (Especially mages), you can expect to get a lot of spells being dumped on you. The lessened AI intensities for creatures like imps and liches will help lessen how often spells will fly at you when a group of monsters attack, but if you got a good 10 imps on you, that's usually asking for trouble.

just for fun run into a good sized group of tier 3 orc champ mobs. Those bombers must throw pots with both hands. Add to that about 50 clumsy spells cast from the mages. If you stand there you will go down to 1/4 of your life before you can get one wither cast.

I saw you taking on an orc champ solo and you seemed to have done rather well considering the end champ was not meant to be a piece of cake for a mage or spellcaster. When getting attacked by numerous monsters, especially at a champion spawn, it's not meant to be easy (Cept maybe if it's a large group of mongbats).

Orc champ is easy tho. Even in Ilsh.

Took me two hours to do one in ilsh, but I was kinda drunk and talkin' to people too, so.

you should have watched the first time I tried to kill Oggra. I died about 30 times before I figured out a way to do it right.

Hehe, I remember the first time I got hit by him and he knocked the ghost out of me. Was quite an experience. Just got to find a strategy for each boss and tap into their vulnerabilities, then they get easier.
