On being late

I forgot to pay my phone bill last month. As a matter of fact, my service was deactivated today because of it.

I got it back in a matter of minutes, after paying the balance and a late fee. I live and breathe personal finance. I’ve never been late on anything ever. It’s embarrassing; it’s expensive. (I actually went on AT&T’s Web site earlier this month to change my plan, but I forgot to pay! I’ve been meaning to set up automatic bill pay ever since I got my credit card, but I put it off!)

I imagine some judgmental old lady tsking me as she processes my payments, as if my payments are actually handled by human beings. Sigh. I guess I shouldn’t care so much, but there are better ways to blow money.

Ouch, a late fee. I like t-mobile, I didn't pay my bill for 2 months and they just shut my phone off. No fees or anything.

For me, being late is like being on-time. I'm usually always late by a few minutes or early for 30-40 minutes.

Yeah, I’m sometimes late for events. I do, however, have a rule for classes: If I’m going to be late, I just don’t show up at all.

Ha, same here. But I only do that if i'm more than 15 minutes late. I use my court case as a scape goat for a lot of missed appointments / missing class.

I was *almost* late to do my cc payment once. I just kept forgetting.

Now that I can do it online its so much better. I don't even go by the bill anymore, I just check online at least once a month and pay off whatever is on it.

Speaking of credit cards. Renewing 2 domains for 10 years and 3 other domains for 3 years adds up to lot of cash.

iceteks.com and iceteks.net wont expire before I turn like 30 lol.
