Nah its ok to link to it, just don't shove it down someone's throat like "PLEASE CLICK HERE!!!!" but in your sig its ok. Whats not Ok is doing so during your first few posts, as it shows you're only here to advertise, but considering you have 200+ posts, you're pretty much safe.

You have way too many sections. Seriously. You need to start off with the barebones main topics, only only expand when you have enough activity to warrant it. Furinstance, you don't need a section of every movie, create one 'movie section'. If down the road, you see that the section is getting overrun with topics about one movie or genre, then create a new subcategory.

Mhm, well the point of it, is that the forum has boards for my favourite movies, tv shows, bands, games etc. and then a general board for any movie, game etc.
And then fans of those movies, games, tv shows etc. can discuss those movies in there..

yeah, I get the point, but it just looks cluttered. That and when 80% of the boards are empty, it kinda makes the whole forum look even more empty.

It would be better to ditch the separate boards and just create threads on the main board. That way, not only does your forum look less cluttered, but it also look like you have more forum activity then you actually have

Yeah I'd start off with like 3 categories (very generalized like "news" "general" "on topic") and 5 or so forums max, then grow from there.
