Huge mistake

Post by Pojo_ »

Got home from the gym, called my dad to pick me up since I went to stay the night at his house. He ordered pizza for me and I pretty much had a large pizza all to myself. But I shared a little bit with my dog.

Anyway, I dont really eat huge meals and I didnt have pizza in awhile. So I ate 9 slices, my stomach was full. Then I realized I still have to eat my tuna for the protein.

So I forced myself to eat two tuna fish sandwhiches. Took me 40 minutes to eat the first one and hour and a half to eat the second one.

Yup, I think somewhere in there I made a mistake.

So a day later. Wasnt hungry today at all. I had some sunflower seeds and that was pretty much it.

I always stop eating once I'm not hungry, then again if I try to force myself I usually gag. But some foods go down smooth no matter what the hunger level is, such as chips, nuts, cookies, and all the cholestorol stuff :P

Oh and NEVER eat a whole can of peanuts before bed, when you're sick. If you do, eat it with chocolate and marshmelows, so you'll get some peanut butter smore mix in the toilet a few hours later. :D Don't forget to buy crackers.

Yup, if I dont then being in the gym for 3-4 hours every other day would be a waste of time. Need 25-30g of protein to gain muscle mass.

what, you mean there was no protein in those 9 slices of pizza? Maybe not as much per slice as the tuna, but still.

But wouldn't the next three to four hours be used to work off the extra calories from the pizza rather than building muscle mass? Besides, the three to four hours at the gym is either:
1. a waste of time anyway
or
2. useful for the aerobic benefits even without the muscle mass addition.

Eating a crapload of protein right after a workout isn't going to determine whether or not you're going to be able to build muscle mass, nevermind the fact that the pizza more than likely had a lot of protein itself.
