Last year I was looking up home decorating ideas for my apartment I just moved into with my dog Chum. She's a spoiled rotten 8 year old black/grey terrier poodle cross who does nothing but lie on couches all day asking for tummy rubs! Too bad she didn't inherit the no-shedding gene 'cause her hair gets all over the furniture. And I'm kind of a neat freak which I can probably thank my neat freak mother for (lol). So I was looking for ways to control her hair or at the very least, reduce it's visibility so I got the idea from a *possibly spam link removed* page to match the color of furniture with Chum's hair... then it went to matching the color of rugs... then table cloths even though she doesn't get on table cloths

. So you can see where this is going, maybe. Now half my apartment matches chum's hair color and I can't stop. I've started hanging dog artwork around (you know like the one with the dogs playing cards) and commissioned my nana to knit all sorts of dog-themed cushion covers in the obvious color choice! AHHHHHHHH out of control.

Actually now that I look at it, I think that post might be legit non spam, but its realy hard to tell. I'll let that one go through with a link removal.

Well, it just seems that lately, we've been getting a lot of posts that seem "real" enough, but contain links to commercial sites. Seems to me that the spammers are changing tactics to make people hesitate before banning them.

Huh? Well, if you want a thread you can spam freely in, feel free to create a spam thread for that very purpose, where all members' spamming can be focused - I doubt Red or Manadren would object to that. We just don't need it in other threads where discussion is taking place on some level.

I was actually thinking about that myself. On a previous iteration of this board we had a spamming thread here for that very purpose. I see no reason why we can't create a new one.
