so i got braces about 3 months ago.
i HATE them. my teeth hurt from getting them tightened today. i can't eat french bread cause it hurts. lol
i get them off in 15 months
anybody else have braces in high school?

15 months?!?!? That's a short time for braces, just so you know.
I had them for two years, like most people. You should get used to them soon. You aren't right now because you're teeth are still moving a lot. After 5-6 months they won't, or shouldn't, move much more.

braces are teh sux. They keep poking the back of my mouth! and it's impossible to get the wax back there! garrr.
And yeah, i'm glad i've only got 15 months left, i've gotta have them on for 18 months total. So they'll be off the summer before my senior year... but junior prom will be fun.... :doublepuke:

My mom had some for like 3 years.... I'm SO glad I never had/have to go through that. I got lucky and all my teeth are pretty much straight. Bottom ones are a tad crooked but nothing to worry as far as what my dentist told me.

i had them on for 5 years total (i had them only on the top for a year, then i got them one the bottom too, then i got them off the top but still had them on teh bottom for a year) so i had them like 4 years (on ly becuz i didnt follow the rules like at all) and they werent horrible. but im still glad i got tehm off. after a few times of getting them tightened ull get used to them and they wont be so bad anymore...
