I’m going to guess the third one (“There is a pink monkey sleeping on the calendar”). Rosa resembles the word for pink in other European languages, and Oreo seems like something that wouldn’t translate.

I really should know German.

That's was very obvious, even if you don't know too much German. Oreo probably wouldn't translate, it would stay Oreo, and there's no "Oreo" in that sentence.
Stasi would know this, is "a" useable in this case? Or is "a" even a word?

There is no word "a" in German.

In any case, what she's trying to write might more accurately be:

"Ein rosa Affe schläft auf dem Kalender!"
