Am I wrong for not feeling sad?

Today I went home from college for a little while. My mom told me that my grandma has breast cancer. I don't feel sad or anything about it. The only thing i could say was that she has lead a good life, and she can still pull through. Am I wrong for not feeling any emotion towards the news?

What kind of relationship do you have with your grandmother, if you don’t mind my asking? Do you see her often?

Because you don't feel bad about somthing that happens does'nt mean that you don't love them.

I don't think you have enough information yet to really feel sad. After all, it is true that she could pull through. How about compassion for the difficulties of treatment? Do you feel any of that?
