hey theres nothing wrong with not liking someone but you dont have to be dissing them besides one of the stupidest most annoying things I hear about him is how the war was stupid. THEN DONT JOIN THE ARMY you arnt forced to and whats the point of joining the army if you never get in a battle or war respect the fact that these people were brave enough to join the army dont go and say "this war is pointless" because people died fighting for the people who couldnt fight back it was a war against terror and to protect the weaker. saying the war is pointless is like coming up to someone after they spent 4 years building something and saying tear it down you built it in the wrong place.

what i mean, is that now that we are fighting over the oil, they sell it to us for more money than before, I am NOT dissing the troops, they are brave, but i would rather these people would never had have to die in the first place!

Who knows. If people educated themselves more, then maybe we'd have better choices altogether. I didn't vote in the last election because I didn't want to contribute to either's numbers. If I would have voted, it would've been for Nader, but he's not a viable candidate.

??? Actually, it would be nice if the Iraqis could sell their own oil and make themselves more money off of it thereby reducing the amount of aid we have to give them.

I agree with you there. I was really responding more to the idea that Bush deserves a certain level of respect simply because he is president.

No leader deserves any trust or respect or love or anything simply because he is a leader. Those are things that must be earned. And Bush hasn't earned them from me.

Sure people can't predict the future, but when advice from those who know something about war, insurgencies, and Arab/Islamic culture is disregarded in favor of some foolish rosy scenario attitude as we're finding it was, means that the war was planned and executed prematurely and it's likely that considerably fewer people, both American and Iraqi, would be on the casualty lists of direct combat or general public disorder. Wow that was a long sentence.

yet then there would be all the people dying of starvation and being shot and the whole thing could get alot worse its not like the people there arnt as good as anyone else they just have crappy lives and we tried to help with military force.

I don't think you understand the gist of what I'm saying. I'm saying that if the war had been planned better, including following advice from people about the potential for insurgency, etc., the conflict as a whole would have been cleaner and we might not be in the same sticky situation as we are now.
