Cannot Connect!

Hi i have been dying to place this shard after seeing some of the awesome things on the forums and websites allthough when trying to connect to the shard with connect uo i get a connect open map1.mul using a full install? i checked my uo directory and found no map1.mul file i found map0.mul and map2.mul and so on but no map1.mul allthough i have saved a few diff client.exe files for various reasons i.e osi stops letting freeshards patch i was using my client.exe file updated to 6.0.1 when i got this message but when i took that client.exe out and replaced it with the one updated to 5.0.6b i was able to connect but as soon as i get in it says my client is out of date you will be disconnected after 15 seconds and than i am disconnected : ( any help with resolving this issue will be much appreciated : ) Thank's for your time.

p.s-Wasnt sure where to post this sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

You using Razor? Only thing I can offer is fixing your login.whatev. Im sure others can help you more.

I never tried through connectuo so don't even know if it works nor is it supported, but you can connect directly through razor. We keep up with all OSI patches so no need to play with .mul files or anything, a direct connect with razor will work fine. though since we're on connectuo I'll have to check whats stopping it from working and see if its something I can fix at my end, or if its a connectuo issue, due to some osi patch.

to connect with razor, set server to login.uovalor.com port 1337.

I just tried to connect with razor and got the same message Failed to open map1.mul using a full install would the version of razor have anything to do with this message?

Hmm sounds like your client is borked.

Try getting the file from here:

http://login.uovalor.com/uodata/

Also ensure razor is pointed to the install folder of UO.
