Yeah, it's pretty sad. And to think these people are middle aged... they should have some half-decent sense of restraint when feeling tempted to do something that will destroy their career or life as a whole.

Yep. You know you're doing it for love when you'll sit in a soiled diaper for ~900 miles just to avoid making unnecessary stops so you can get from point A to B more quickly.
