Looking at the moon

Does looking at the moon make you blind like looking at the sun does?!
Because my mum always said it did and I never believed her and always look at the moon...nothing happens to anyone when they look at it...

lol no. Not crazy. But apparently back when she was in school the science teacher had told all the class that...just shows how our knowledge has improved and we have discovered more information!
