I always wonder if animals have souls and know that they living and seeing us...through there eyes and understand us fully or if they are just there, placed for us to see them...

So you think they are controlled to do everything...you believe that they are not really functioning as if they had souls..
So you don't believe that they can control themselves..
Hmmm..ok..interesting

well they have god given instincts, they are pretty much programed to know what they need to do to survive. i think animals have different personalitys though, like my cats, 1 of them is kind of laid back and another one is really energetic and always running around. and they can show affection and loyalty to people

Could you define "soul" more specifically? Is it just a sense that they know they are alive and can understand other lifeforms around them? I do not believe that they are self-aware, in terms of them thinking to themselves, "Hey, I'm a cat." I do think they can understand our body language better than we humans can understand each other's body language, but they certainly don't "understand us fully."

I think to myself in english - which was taught to me. so to say to myself hey i'm a person, I needed to learn all that first.

instincts play an important role and some 'good' studies can come from

FeralChildren.com
There have been over 40 well documented cases of feral children in the last few hundred years. The first really famous example, was 'Wild Peter', who was only 12 years old when he was captured in Hanover in 1724. He was described as being a 'naked, brownish, black-haired creature', and would climb trees and live off plants. He never mastered speech, and it took a long time for him to even attempt to eat anything other than plant material. He spent 68 years in society, but never managed to learn to say anything other than 'Peter' and 'King George.'

There are some who are very sceptical about Feral children, while others, such as Carl Linnaeous who classed them as a new species of human - 'Homo Ferens' , regarded them as very real indeed. As cases diminish though, the chance of ever truly understanding the mystery of the Feral children, diminishes with them.
Further Information can be found at http://www.feralchildren.com
One might take note that the animal accepts human children as their own, and even humans are 'programed' to mimic

having a sole really only applies to 'belief' however I do not accept current thoughts and practices on animals. I lived on a pig farm and the conditions are deplorable
