Now forgive me if this thread has already been done but expecting it had been already done I searched this Arts and Media section yet I didn't find anything related to it...so...here it is.
What is your favourite movie?
My favourite is Donnie Darko.
But then one that is also really awesome is Session 9.

And what is so bad about that last 1962 film?
not that it is so terribly bad, my problems with it are Joan Collins as the main female lead (Dorothy has a cameo) and Bob and Bing were getting too old for the roles at that point.

Das Boot is good. Have you seen other German films about WW2 like 'Stalingrad' or the excellent 'Downfall'?
I have seen 'the downfall' a.k.a. der Untergang. excellent movie. I'll try to get stalingrad - i have not seen this one, thanks alot for recomending it.

Donnie Darko is a pretty good, flick. It would be even better if Drew Barrymore wasn't in it (I hate that wench)
The Ring is also an awesome movie, but I prefer the Japanese flick (Ringu), got a bit more story to it.
Can't really say what my favorite movie is, but if I had to pick something right now, I'd probably say Evil Dead 2.
now for the list:
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Evil Dead Trilogy
NightDawnDayLand of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead
Dr. Stangelove
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol 12
The Fifth Element
Monty Python and the Holy GrailLife of BrainMeaning of Life
Minority Report
12 Monkeys

Yeah, I should've included Fifth Element on my list. Honestly, I went through a J-Horror phase and after so many similar, overly sensational and overused horror devices, I got a bit disillusioned. That said, I still enjoy 'Infection'... have you seen that one?
Archived topic from Anythingforums, old topic ID:2912, old post ID:53166
No, I haven't seen Infection, but it's on the list now. Luckily I'm early enough in my J-Horror phase that I haven't seen enough to get jaded yet. I can see what you mean though.
