Umm is there an alternate sapwn? I was wondering if u guys could add an alternate spawn place, i tried taming one tonight in the labyringth and it seemed pretty hard and i died alot and never even got an attempt.......Just a thought, but maybe others are having trouble as well.

Ya reptalons are a bit pushed back there. I can maybe add one a bit closer to the entrance area but not until I get around to cleaning up some labyrinth spawners. The reason they are in that spot is to give enough radius to fight the named creatures in the labyrinth.Munson wrote:Umm is there an alternate sapwn? There was a spot close to the end of the Labyrinth that used to be able to be teleported to and stuff that created a moderately safe spot to regroup and stuff that became blocked very recently. It was a pretty useful spot for taming as well. I'm sure it was probably blocked to keep people from getting stuck and maybe some kind of exploit that someone could think of, but it was the only place to really stop for a bit before having to recall out or run back through everything completely at the beginning entrance without getting attacked by stuff.Seer Death wrote:Ya reptalons are a bit pushed back there. That spot was actually blocked to both prevent players from getting stuck inside and to prevent monsters from spawning within the boundaries and getting stuck (There were 2 areas actually). I will be putting a reptalon spot a bit closer to the entrance and possibly above pyre. I just need to figure out an area that won't interfere with fighting certain named creatures.

The one spot at the bottom southwest side that I'm talking about never had anything spawned in it, but at the same time if it were spawned there could still have been killed by players. There's a long range spawner in the dungeon that made it within that range so it actually is possible to get something to spawn there. Sure it might just be a few rats or birds but they're still spawns that would be going in an invalid spot and chances are not many people are going to stop to kill those. As for getting stuck, you could use a warrior with teleport scrolls although you are right, most of the time it would be a mage. As for the reptalon spot, I moved one closer to the start (Area before pyre) which is extremely beneficial to tamers as there exists little danger around that area except for a few air elementals and the occasional lured pyre. Also, holy squirrels are nearby to heal and res.

actually stuff can still spawn there, now that I think of it it may be better off leaving it unblocked so people can kill the stuff, or it will pile up in there. The spawners don't use LOS (or stuff wouold not spawn beyond buildings)

another way to get the rep is to lead it to the entrance then tame. Use a char that fame doesnt matter to lead, or one that is tough enough to take a beating from the monsters.
