Runescape.
It's free, no download so no virus crap, the whole thing loads in the browser and there are hundreds of thousands of people on the game simultaneously. It's pretty good when you have nothing to do.
Just don't get addicted...

I'm LVL 73 Combat.
LVL 61 Attack, 62 Strength, 58 Defence, 49 Mage, 42 Range, 36 Prayer.
Just to let you know if you decide to give it a go...
1 - The graphics are wack. If you're looking for graphics over playability close this thread right now and go play Half Life 2 or FEAR.
2 - It's completely free with no download. Everything loads in your web browser.
3 - If you're looking for a game you can complete in a few weeks or even a few months don't bother playing. I've been playing for about 2 years on and off and have only leveled my combat to around half of what it could be. When you first start you LVL FAST and I mean fast. 100 EXP to next level kind of thing. At LVL 80 it takes around a million EXP to LVL. So if you are sensitive to the word "n00b" don't even bother reading any further.
4 - There's tons of stuff to do. It's kind of based in a medieval era; plenty of swords and armour etc:. I'll list the features free players have access to incase anyone's interested:
Combat - Affects your overall lvl that people can see. Probably most important unless you wanna be called "N00b" the entire time.
Woodcutting - Speaks for itself, cut trees into logs.
Firemaking - Speaks for itself, burn your logs to make a fire to cook stuff on.
Mining - Speaks for itself, mine different kinds of ore.
Smithing - Smelt your ore and make weapons or armour.
Cooking - Speaks for itself, cook the food you've got from hunting or fishing or whatever.
Crafting - I wont go into detail but you can make loads of different things like ranged armour, jewellery, pottery and other stuff.
Magic - Use different kind of spells; attack spells, holding spells, teleportation etc:.
Prayer - Most people ignore it but you can use prayer to give you enhanced powers.
Ranging - Shoot arrows at people...
Fishing - Fish for food and cook it or sell it to other players.
If you decide to be a member then you get other skills like Thieving and Fletching and stuff.
The games pretty cool. Hope this thread doesn't count as advertising cuz I'm not affiliated with runescape in anyway I just play and enjoy it. Makes a change from going on MSN.
