Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

I am starting my first TOPIC!!!!

Ok enough with the nonsense. This is a topic that needs to be taken seriously and therefor i ask you which is better or going to be better? Will the Xbox 360 have more buyers due to the release date being earlier? Or will the PS3 overcome the Xbox 360 because of the developement time being longer than that of the Xbox 360's. The Xbox 360 is planning on releaseing there next big title on the same release day of the PS3 and that will be Halo 3(name may vary?). if any of you knew me I guarantee you would know where I stand on this topic. I am and always have been a Xbox guy(more so for Microsoft) just because of the better online gameplay. The PS3 is going to have great online play, I assure you of that, but will it ever be as good as Xbox Live? The answer is simply no. With the PS2 having difficult navigation and setup of PS2 online(me and a firend spent 3 days trying to get it to work, and never did) hopefuly PS3 improved, for gamers sake. Well that is where I will end my take on which is better. Take care!

I'm not a huge console fan and won't buy any of those two, but if I was to buy a console I probably would get the Xbox 360. Not only does it have Halo 3, but it will cut the house heating cost as well.

PS3 will cost $600+ USD, Hasnt even been seen at CES in Vegas this year and on top of that no new video of new games has been shown. All this and still the hype why? becuase people assume from the past it will be great, and dont know jack about the technology.

Hey Red have you seen a Blu-Ray DVD-Rom yet for sale? Im betting on a no why? Becuase production of blu-ray lasers is ultra low due to the costs involved. Not to mention the fact yeilds on making Blu-Ray Discs isnt anywhere near production levels.

Also as one of my Favortie sites have pointed out cell chip is costly the Inquirer has a great post here about the cost of just the CPU. The Xbox 360 costs ~$525 with HDD.

The best point I have about the PS3 not being released anywhere near the timetable said by Sony but way later is there isnt any true full speed Dev kits for games, none have been seen and many game makers have complained about this saying we wont have any true PS3 games made until 2007 or later mattering when we get our final spec Dev kits this info is only a month old from BW

That a hard sell for any game system in my book, to hype it as the 360 killer the only supply game makers with cut down Dev kits to limit what they will be able to make for a quality of a game will burn sony in the end if PS3 launch titles dont blow the 360 out of the water..
