A New Look or Something

I've noticed you guys have NEVER changed the skin, lol. I think that could do a world of wonders. Also, a new banner would be in order to. I just think that you guys could really make this place look really attractive if you took the time to do it. It might attract more members to. Just a suggestion.

Tried it once, everyone complained, deleted it. I think it would have helped too.

I sort of deleted the one I had worked on for a couple of months, and now I hardly have time doing anything with Iceteks let alone making a skin for this forum. (IPB 2.0 is horrible for making skins for) I could go on the cheap side and put a premade one though, maybe a nice star wars one or something.

Man, so much projects and stuff, I did not even start, and dont know if I'll have time to.

This is a secondary site to me so that's why not much gets done... If I do something it will probably be a premade skin or new logo. Though I do plan on working on SBBS during christmas break, so if I find it worthy of use I may just upgrade to that, which will help me debug it more as we find problems and such. That would mean a new, green, skin as I'd probably stick to default.

Well I can guarentee there won't be any new skin by new years, I did not even start yet.

Even the end of semister is nuts, packed with exams like I've never seen before, so my exam week did not contain many days off, only parts here and there.

BUT the good news is, during christmas break I want to try and finish up SquirrelBBS so that it can be in a usable state, and I'll need a test forum for it, so this will be it. And SBBS has a very nice templating system compared to IBP - makes it very easy to import/export skins since it's just the thing of uploading a folder.

But I may also go very basic and just change the default SBBS logo, the default skin is green and I think that's what everyone wants anyway.

Anything to stay away from default blue which everyone uses. hehe.

Ahhh installing a skin on IPB is as easy as going to the AdminCP and uploading the skin and image file.

Did you guys pay to have the copyright removed at the bottom? If so how much was it?

Yeah it's easy if it's a premade skin but making one from scratch (what I woul do) is a PIA, the old one was nice, you could just edit the files in the skin folder.

And yeah we had to pay, in fact 2.0 itself costs money, and it's expensive. I was not owner at the time so I did not pay for it.
