When I'm trying to make boards, I get the message that I have no logs in my pack. Also, the carpentry gump doesn't display the amount of wood and logs I have, but will still allow me to create other items.
Ingots are fine though.

Hmm it should show amount of wood you have, do you get a cliloc error or anything? I know for me it shows how much of each board.
As for creating boards, you reminded me of a fix I applied to that (it used to require regular boards, to create all board types) and guess I forgot to test it.
The way crafting boards works is it calls up a function that turns all different logs into their proper boards. But before it required you have regular boards on you, I tried making it require BaseBoard but apparantly that did not work. thanks for reporting I'll take a look.

you need atleast 1 ordinary log/board in order to do it.
Otherwise you get that. It sounds like you are making shafts outa normal boards?
Just turn logs into boards THEN make shafts. Possibly even drop 1 ordinary board the pick it up after your done making shafts so your good to go.
Make sense? Confusing as sin to me lol. Hope it helps.

No, I'm not trying to make shafts, I'm trying to make boards.

Yeah making boards is actually broken now, I totally forgot about my "fix" and I never tested it lol. Also the displays only display how many boards you have. I'll look at fixing this for next publish. I want to make it so it does not require ordinary boards, just any type of board.

One thing that might be convenient to add is make it so you don't have to put logs in your bag to chop em. Just stack em on the ground and double click the axe, then target the logs on the ground to turn them into boards. It can still do the lumberjack check.Red Squirrel wrote:Yeah making boards is actually broken now, I totally forgot about my "fix" and I never tested it lol. Yeah though the backpack check is to ensure logs can't be "stolen" from various situations. Like someone using snooping skill etc...
