Anyone listen to the radio program, 'Echoes' on PRI? I was thinking about it and it's really the only radio program I know of that airs where I live where I can discover interesting new music. Since the late 90s when I started listening, I've bought many a CD because of this program. If you like ambient, new age, or world music, give it a listen sometime. They occasionally play trip-hop and other styles not typically associated with the previously mentioned varieties as well, though it never feels out of place.
