Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 20 seconds before trying again.

Is this really necessary?

That’s a different flood control.

000, I can see how this would annoy you. The software enables flood control by default. I didn’t even know there was a flood control for searches. I can’t find the appropriate setting in the AdminCP. (It’s a jungle in there!) Even if I did, I believe I should leave this to our belovèd rodent. He has much more knowledge of server administration and will be more aware of the consequences.

I'd say a spell checker might be more necessary.

After the attacks a few days ago, it is necisary(:P). Searches put a decent load on the server if done many times per second.

Interesting Stuff. Although it is pretty annoying when you switch from 5 results to 20 (to get a wider result on things) and end up with that flood message

. Can't you set the default amount to 20? :biggrin:
