Specialty dealer

I think it'd be neat if we could get some new things on the specialty dealer. I know that the "pvp anywhere" deeds will be here sometime. Perhaps to go along with that there could be a ranking system with a leaderboard in luna bank or something. Also, I would really like to see item id deeds on the specialty dealer. It'd be neat to get id change deeds to make my ugly HoM look like a tall straw hat etc. Just an idea. Everyone else feel free to pitch in other ideas =] and tell me what you think of mine.

I would pay good gold(mill+) for a perm pollymorph deed. I hate the way elves look, but I like being an elf. So that would allow the best of both worlds.

Not sure how it would interact with Coon tho or even the poly spell itself. Polymorph back?

i just thought of 2 others, sec change deed (a little weird, but hey, people do it irl, so why not irg), and name change deeds.

hmmm that specialty dealer can probably be updated. We've been meaning to add an lrc armor set that gives you crappy resists but great lrc/lmc and regen and NOT cost a fortune.

Think the reason we got away from the itemID change deed was to avoid artifact confusion with players. It's not a bad idea and I personally wouldn't mind changing my HOI into a pair of antlers but it's a lot more involved than just switching the look. If you switch the look, you may also have to switch the craft used to repair it.

The sex change deeds are 100% doable so those could be added. We'll probably make a quest for that later on though.

The permanent polymorph ability is iffy because there are some monsters that will change your form (Coon, lamias) and some of them will erase your polymorph. Also, non humans and non elves don't look good on horses and other mounts without patched clients so if we did that, everyone would have to download a special patch to their clients which might interfere with other servers they may play on.

The polymorph thing would be pretty neat, but there are the issues such as mounts. We could make it a toggle though, so you can't mount until you toggle back to your real form. Or it could just be auto, when you double click a mount you go to your normal form.

Yeah I was meaning pollying from an elf to a human. I just don't like how elves don't show their helms. It irks the hell outa me for some reason.

I know for coon he doesn't polly you into a rat when you polly yourself. Would it be a perma-solution to coons rat polly?

Coon won't polymorph you into a rat if you have used polymorph, incognito or kin paint. That's intentional. Lamias however are not as forgiving with their attack. Making an elf have a human body would look kind of odd but it's doable.
