Hello. I'm Nitroanarchygirl. I came here from the Windstorm forums.

I'm 13, live in Melbourne, Australia and I'm a chick obviously.

My fave band is the Offspring. I also like Smashing Pumpkins, NOFX, Rammstein, Megadeth, Bad Religion, Green Day, Metallica, Living End, Gob, Linkin Park, Tenacious D, Aerosmith, Ramones, Alk3, Anti-Flag.... etc etc

I drawn manga and I love to play guitar, sing and write.

I HATE EMO. I can't push that enough.

Distaste for Emo fiends is understandable, however, does it come from your own musical elitism, or a fair evaluation of the subculture as a whole? Their pseudo-intellectual superiority complex demonstrated by their art-faggotry/b*tchery and phony, contrived display of their emotional vulnerability are irritating, to say the least. That said, I'm sure there are some Emo brats that are okay.

I don't think you quite understand what the Emo culture that's being referenced really is like. People dress and act 'Emo' as others are Goth, Punk, candy kids, etc. There is a general fashion sense and similarity in attitude as well as musical taste. Check out Cicero's link.

Ahh.. Sometimes those people are cool, but they tend to complain too much.

I don't feel like I should write a song due to sorrows in my life, although I do write 'emo-poems' but, I just do it, cause I intend to make a band someday. ..Someday..

Look, what peeves me about Emo isn't the music, fashion, or emotional openness, it's the attitude with which those are expressed. Write 'emo' poems, songs, art, etc. Just, be 'real' - something so lacking in pop culture.

Yeah :/ It's kind of evil to put up with. But I don't mind it too much. Not to sound mean, but they need to get a life other than telling us everything that's wrong with them. They could at least be happy about something. >.<;

That music isn't emoooo, It's Alternative! But, most people who listen to them are emo.

You should listen to Avenged Sevenfold (don't if you're not mentally stable) It will leave you depressed about yourself.

I dont like Simple Plan, but Jimmy Eat World would be classed as Emo and they kick ass. Also I (and Wikipedia) would class Alk3 as punk/Emo.
