Carpentry runics

Post by Finlander »

Yees, i know we have these but currently its not usefull to blow them for furniture, my suggestion is that if you use normal wood with them, it makes the furniture to the color of the runic kit (example: bloodwood runic kit would be making bloodwood colored furniture with normal wood, it would of course lose one charge after every making)

Just a idea i came up while i read .d's suggestion of tinkering runics

You can do that with regular tools (as of a recent change) so yeah runics are useless for that type of stuff, they're mostly for the armors, and wood weps like bokutos and staves.

Don't need the runic tool to make colored furniture. Craft, say a stool out of bloodwood and you've got a bloodwood tool. Runic tools should primarily be used for armor and weaponry. Bokutos are rather nice sellers.

Just an observation. You paraphrase and repeast Squirrel a lot. I think your explanations are a little more descriptive, and I'm not complaining. It's just an observation.

Everyone loves a second opinion :P. Also the reason being is squirrel adds his parts to a system and I add my own parts. So say if he's the one adding the runic tools, I'm the one adding the recipes and so on. Some systems we both work on so we tend to elaborate more on which parts we've done.

Yeah I figures as much. I just think it's funny sometimes. As I mentioned though, your responses are usually inimore detail with explanations and stuff. Good job!

but the idea was to be able to make that, if you got a bloodwood runic kit with regular wood, with similar result.

THAT was the idea

Oooooohhh I got you now. Not sure why you'd want to waste a runic charge on that though. I know bloodwood's a bit of a pain to find, but a stool only needs like 5 boards.

true, but iam not sure why you'd waste your precious bloodwood for an stool, when you can use the kit and spare the wood for bows or other more valuable stuff(basicaly items that you can sell for an good price)
Plus there are things that take plenty of more than a stool.

if you think it that way

Bloodwood stools would make great additions to evil decor bars. Bloodwood arcane circles are awesome too btw. Parrot perches in that color would look great with shadow black parrots too.

Also lets say you get a runic with 40 charges, you could deco your whole house with bloodwood items. Meaning it would come alot easier to do it that way than by using bloodwood.

Tho this isnt important thing atleast for me, but i just thought that i'd suggest this, as i think it would be nice
