Doesn't work. I tried a UBWS Short spear and was gaining fencing :/

You'll still gain the skill that its for. But it should be using your best skill when determining hit chance. But thats something I can verify as maybe it did break.

Oh okay. I just know a lot of people use them as trainers for weapon skills.

I think that is intentional actually. Even on other shards I've played on the special attacks required real skill. The same goes for "Mage weapons". I was trying to find anything on stratics and other sites that explicitly said you can use special attacks with a UBWS or Mage weapon, and I can't find anything.

Yeah think UBW is strictly for hit chance, thats it, and maybe DCI, but don't even think that is applied.

On OSI you could.

Hence why I would use a UBWS war fork on my Archer Macer.

Bleed/Disarm ftw.

You can. I tested it on TC. Archery does not apply to UBWS tho, nor does wrestling for that matter.

Wrestling and archery aren't supposed to. That's intentional. The special shots are supposed to work though.

Just tested Blade of the Righteous with Beelzebub (a fencer) and was able to a concusion blow. Due to lacking of tactics, I wasn't able to do AI.

Just tested and specials work fine with UBWS weps even if you don't have enough skill of that wep. Ex: use warrior's bow (has UBWS) with 90 fencing, and you can still use the two bow specials, and get the right hit chance based on fencing. Closed ticket.
