Just wondering. I remember people used to love camping the caves.

He's there. Just gotta force him to show up. If you kill the troglodytes he'll pop up eventually.

So wait, once he pops up does he keep respawning each time or gotta keep forcing him?

It's about 33% chance of a normal troglodyte or lurg.

Depends on spawner, random spawners are, random. So each time it has to respawn it spawns a random creature from its list of possible spawns.

Last time I checked, Lurg was at the entrance. Killed my tamer as I entered the cave. Ouch! BTW, I'm referring to the Painted Cave in Fel.

Ya lurg hits pretty hard. A spellweaver tamer would be nice cause you can allure one of the troglodytes onto lurg while your pets attack him.
