Would it be too much to get their spawn rate bumped slightly? Seeing as how no one goes out to Ilsh, it's hard to find good paragon spawns.

Now that I've typed this up...I get the feeling I'm gonna get directed to gay ML...

I've thought of that, but the rate is actually fine, its a total luck thing. I've actually seen where 50% of a dungeon respawend paragon. So if I was to increase it, think it would maybe get out of hand.

Start up a champion in ilsh and you'll get swarmed by paragons.

i tried this a month or so ago and couldn't get a single paragon to spawn. I thought I was gonna do the oaks spawn, but it turned out to be undead when I valored it. It was odd though that not a single paragon spawned and I worked it up to 3 or 4 red candles.

Yeah the spirituality one is a great spot, here its random, not forced to oaks. The one in twisted weald is oaks instead (but that will change once we get around to coding the real spawn thats suppose to go there - its a nasty one)

Oh... while we are on the topic of Paragons. Is the Labyrinth supposed to be an Ilshenar location even though you enter and exit through a building entrance in malas?

Yeah its actually in malas, but I read somewhere that paragons can spawn there, interestingly enough.

Yes it's malas but people said they've bumped into paragons in there so we decided to add that.

In fact, I've personally done at least 10 spawns (all the tiers) in ilshenar and have never seen a single paragon in any of them. I thought it was made this way for a reason, so you don't have a bunch of paragons holding up your candles...

Ya I tested that during sw and we fixed it before sw ended so try it out now.

Before I tamed my blaze cu with almost perfect resists, I frequent Weald. Paragons spawn at regular intervals i.e. Swoop, changeling, Cu Sidhe, Gnaw and even the dreaded Virulent. I even got a chest off a Paragon Cu Sidhe.

A can safely say a paragon virulent has the scent of a blood hound. No matter how far away you are from that thing, it will always find you. Paragon swoops have been known to render your armor more useless than a piece of tissue paper. Paragon cu-sidhe chest must make a nice keepsake in your house

That paragon virulent freaks me out. It tried to teleport to my spot while I was taming a cu. Killed my tamer with one bite. From then on, I always aggro from a distance any cu I want to tame and lead it to the entrance where the nasty paragon virulent can't reach me.

As for the paragon cu sidhe chest, I have yet to dig the level 6 t-map it yielded.

Well...as a compromise, how about you do the same thing (or there-abouts) with Ilsh as you've done with Tokuno. I mean make the non-champ mobs have a higher arti chance than champ mobs. Ilsh doesn't get run threw enough to have a good paragon chance, imo.

And champs are too unpredictable. Right now there are 2 Neiras and an orc champ.

The best trick with paragons is go all over the place, don't just camp one spot. Go around killing everything you see, then go back to where you went when you figure everything respawned, and repeat. This is also more fun then just camping the same spot over and over.

Thats if you don't feel like doing a spawn. Or do only the first tier of a spawn then go do that to let the candles run down.
