Congrats!

Well I'm definatly having a C in math, but as long as I pass is what matters. I'm at 62% right now and need 60 to pass. :D I can redo one test so I'll redo the factoring one which I got 38% so if I can pull off a 60 or something on that test. Thank God we don't have an exam though. :o

Well done on that. I'm aiming for a fail in German and then hopefully pass the rest.

When I was growing up, there was an amusement park in my town that gave a free ride ticket for every A on your report card.

Congratulations on your grades! :)

Do you get anything? I remember getting free food from Dairy Queen in my elementary years. Now that I’m in high school, I’m entitled to a free breakfast with a guest speaker and time away from first period. After the first few times, I stopped going.

In my elementary school they used to buy you lunch form McDonalds or something when you got straight A's. I did once.. it wasn't all that.

In high school though, they would put your name in a raffle. Prizes ranged from a pen set [woohoo] to a few bucks, to gift certificates, and I think they gave away a tv at the end of the year. They'd also draw a class, from whom they'd do a separate drawing from. My class got picked one year, and there was only something like 6 people in the class, pretty much all in the drawing, so everyone got something, minus the one guy who didn't do so hot on his report card. If I remember correctly my prize was a crisp $5 bill! Nothing to write home about, but more than I had the day before.

Wow they're cheap. I got my name on a plaque a few times for different awards and it's displayed at the school.

Heck, one of my science projects in physics class is displayed in this glass cabinet. I went to visit the school and saw it and I just thought it was funny because the project is super simple and never figured they actually kept it.

I got like $1500 worth of bursaries when I graduated. Was pretty cool.

You guys get stuff when you get good marks? Best we got here is if you do really good they embarrase you by announcing your name and how well you did over the intercom.
