OK red, I'm now seeing these google text ads on just about every site. The google site says you make

per click for having these ads on your site but they don't say how much. What’s the average

per click Red? I'm just curious.
My brother has a website for his business and I was wondering if this is something that he should consider

It's actually against the ToS to talk about this to a certain degree.

But just to say that it depends on allot of things such as CTR. (click thru rate)

For example once I made like 5 bucks on one click, while some days 1 penny. But the 5 buck click might of been the only click in 10 impressions that day, while the 1 penny one might of been one of 100 clicks in a 100000 impressions. Just throwing numbers here for examples.

Also I think it depends on what the ad topic is about, some topics pay more. It seems technology related ads pay more since I'm making decent cash through Iceteks. The site's budget is curently at about 800 bucks right now, and that's after renewing the domain for 10 years.

Yeah, for some reason google is really iffy about that. I'm pretty sure it's fine to give an idea of how much I'm making but I can't go and post my stats and stuff.

Simply put, adsense makes more then enough money to keep a site alive so more and more sites are depending on it.

I think we've figured out why. Apparently this guy figured out that links related to asbestos reform and asbestos, that's asbestos reform and asbestos, I repeat, asbestos reform and asbestos

have click through rates for $15-100, so he created a blog on the topic to test it out.

What happends is that you just get used to it.

That said I'll be adding popups. J/K I'd NEVER do that. I know I could pull off insane cash with those but refuse to ever put popups on any site I make.

But the ads are mostly for people who land here from google for example. But for some reason it seems to be taking a while for the site to get full indexed even with all the search spider friendly methods I have setup.

All the money still comes mostly from Iceteks.

I... Hate... Pop-ups... I'm glad you're in charge of this site. I remember posting on a different forum site a while ago, they added like 4 pop-ups to every page... The sites' members all left and the site was shut down. How pointless.

Popups are evil. If ever I decide to put popups, I want someone to cut my tail in 20 seperate peices starting from the end, then shoot me with a BB gun until I'm on the verge of dying, then drop me in a dark hole full of lemon juice and razor blades, and crocodiles.

I don't plan to ever put popups on any sites I own.
