I actually have a compete set, but it's from version 0.66. MAME's up to version 0.90 now though. Buttloads of changes and additions since then...

swank. Are you one of them cabinet building people, or did you just put together a specialized compy to hook up to your tv?

I'd personally get an old cabinet then slap an X-Box, one of those arcade monitors with a converter if needed, then use an X-Cade doohickey

yeah, came on 2 dvds. Now they're up to 8 dvds for a full set with CHDs

I downloaded the latest version of mame32 to see which ones still work, but I got BSOD'ed. Some kind of Kernal exception I think :( Guess I"ll have to go dig up v.66 somewhere....

I see, I'm considering ponying up 20 bucks for the full set of .90, but I don't have access to that plastic money thing. Bah.

well some of them will take checks and pretty much all will let you send the blank dvds to them to burn.

I know. I'd rather them take care of that

I'll have access to a plastic money thing next week, though, so I can just settle for playing Roadblaster and Galaga '88 in the meantime

I works pretty good. I want to add a track ball and a spinner. When I get those added I'm going to build a table top cabinet. Right now it plugs into any keyboard ps2 port. I used the keyboard hack.

Nice. You look a few buttons short though. How are you going to play street fighter 2?

I'm work'in on it. ;)
This is just to see if it would work. WHen I add the spinner, trackball and another row of buttons, I won't be using the keyboard hack. I'll be using an I-PAC and Opti-PAC.
Check'em out here.

I was going to do it this winter but I seem to be a little bit busier that I thought I'd be.
