I have a great interst in the future of the human species and where we might be headed. Many people here don't have as bright of an opinion of our future as I do. We are coming up with ways to co-exist with nature every day and that is really the key. We have to CO-EXIST with nature instead of existing within it. The main reason for this being that we are the most intelligent creature on the planet. I believe that we will reach a time in which we are on equal footing with our planets ferocious abilities (ie. natural disaster control, prediction and or shielding). I only regret that I won't live to see the day that our species truly comes to it's final destination in this universe.

I feel sad for people who think that they are more important than any other given person. When what I feel makes one important is the ability to care enough to overcome the fear and cowardess that breeds that attitude of self importance. Who are you without other people? You are nothing and nothing you do matters. If you are too selfish to help those around you then life will leave you bitter and alone.

I like how with all that high-tech gadgetry and advancement....aliens that are capable of interstellar travel still need an antenna in order to get good tv reception.

I think that's where the "Aboot" thing comes from, since here people don't say aboot but they probably do in PEI and that end.

Nothing beats a quebecer swearing in french though, man that's funny...... I'm sure we Ontario people are funny to them though .
