update [Nov 20 07] - Craft system and material hues

Post by Red Squirrel »

* Addons such as stone tables will now keep their hue when you customize your house

* All crafted items will now take the color of the wood used (furniture, etc) This includes addons, like pentagrams.

* All addons now go by the color of the deed. If we find any that should not we will override them to stay default, but I could not think of any.

* Abbatoir (cement summon altar thingy) has been moved from carpentry to stonecrafting, since it makes more sense, and stone colors look better for it

* When no weapon is equipped, your chance to block an attack (not parry, but DCI) is now based on wrestling skill, OR (anatomy+evalint skill)/2 - whichever is highest. So if you have GM anat and GM eval, its equivalent to having GM wrestling. I saw a 2002 post on RunUO forums that this was going to be fixed in the future. In the future alright, since its not fixed yet in stock RunUO.

* Starting after tomorrow, server wars will last 15 minutes instead of 10 minutes. This is to be extra sure that any pre-update scripts have had enough time to complete before the reboot. A reboot durring a script update job would result in a server halt if I'm not around to correct it.

Fair warning to everyone, Frostwood ROCKS in the color department so these may come into play later on with house contests :-D Not that I'm planning one or anything....

Bloodwood arcane circles are particularly nice. Great for evil decor.
